About The Inn in Westport

Welcome to Westport, located in Adirondack Park in upstate New York. The charming village is located on the shores of Lake Champlain. Lake Placid and Saranac Lake are a short and scenic drive away. Going south is historic Fort Ticonderoga, known particularly for the frequent reenactments staged there.

Since the construction of the Inn's first section in 1855, it has marked the center of Westport village. Since purchasing the Inn, we have worked to restore and update the unique character of the building. Today its original old charm is complimented by all the modern conveniences and comforts we feel our guest require.

The Inn is located in the center of historic Westport on the shores of Lake Champlain. Casual and fine dining, the local marina, and a championship golf course are in an easy walk from the Inn. The depot theater, a mile away, stages professional productions all season.

Among the many amenities offered by the Inn is a deck with views of downtown Westport and Lake Champlain. Inside, guest can browse through the fine collection out the Inn Bookstore while enjoying a coffee purchased at the Inn Coffee Shop. Or you can go enjoy breakfast and lunch in The Inn Cafe. Or, buy an ice cream at The Inn Ice Cream Parlor, walk over to Ballard Park, sit on the benches or beach and enjoy the views of Lake Champlain or the views of the green mountains of Vermont.

At the end of the day, come sit and relax on the front deck. Enjoy a glass of wine or an ice cold beer.

Each of our twelve individually decorated rooms has a private bath, cable television, wireless Internet, new pillow-top beds, and air conditioning. For the further comfort of our guests, a pillow closet offers dozens of varieties for a perfect night sleep and we have also provide an extensive movie library .
